Can You Guess My Favorite Hobbies?

Let's see! In this article I will share with you my favorite hobbies... Maybe I will surprise you!

*Watching TV

Yes, that's right! I like to watch birds in my window, but I prefer to see them on the TV, big and clear and even more important: they can not fly away! I also love to watch squirrels, cats and fish swimming in the deep ocean!

*Travel to my aunt Maria's house

Before we moved to Malta, I used to visit my aunt Maria every weekend in Portugal. My grandparents live there as well. They have a big garden where I can play and see the real nature! When I was a baby I used to start meowing two minutes before we arrived, because I knew the route and was too excited to jump inside their house! Now, that we live in Malta, I still didn't forget my aunt Maria's house. After hours travelling through airports and roads I always know when we are close to aunt Maria... I can't wait to go there again and my mom already told me that it will happen very soon!

*Play with Dory

I am pretty sure you all know Dory, the fish! I found Dory, that is the real story! In my playroom... She is there and she is my favorite toy.. Don't you believe me? Check out this video!

What We Cats Think About You? You Will Be Surprised...

Finally you will know what we, cats, think about you, mommies and human friends! Even though we know what you think about us - that you are completely in love with us! - most of the times you have no idea what is crossing our mind...

Cats rule! Humans estimated that there are 3 cats for each dog in the world and we have more and more cat lovers everyday. But we are still a big mystery... Sometimes we just stare at you without blinking for minutes and it looks like we are psychopaths. Are we? Let's check it out!

There are a lot of studies that you humans did to try to figure out what we think about you. But now you will hear the truth from a real cat, and not from humans pretending to be a cat! Let's start. I think you are a very strange being... And big! Did you notice how much bigger you are compared to us??? You are huge! You do also have very strange behaviors. Why do you need toilet paper? Why don't you use a simple litter box? How can you eat that junk food? Seriously, thanks God you do not give me the same food that you eat! Another thing that I don't understand is why you sleep only 8 hours per day. Really? That's a small nap for me...

I think you look a mess in the morning and that you work too much! I also think that you love us so, so much... You also work to give us the best food, the best litter, the best vet... Meanwhile all we do is sleeping. And purring. And licking you. And licking your face. And loving you.

I am a cat and I am sick... Why my mom can't stay by my side?

If your cat is or was sick you will know what I am talking about... When I am not feeling very well my mom is always worried. She can not simply leave me alone with fever or vomiting... It's obvious, isn't it? Unfortunately it's not, because by law my mommy should just leaving me and go to work, while I stay at home, completely alone and very sick. That's what our society tell us to do. I am so lucky because mom never did it! When I had my first symptoms related to the epilepsy she couldn't just leave me when I couldn't even control my muscles. But she couldn't either just call to her boss and say "I am sorry, I can't go to work today because my cat is not well.". It is so sad that for the humans this is not a reason to not go to work. So, when I was that sick my mommy had to lie and take some sick leave to make sure that I didn't die. Yes! Because if my mommy would just go to work instead of visiting three different vets until we found out that what I have is epilepsy, I would be death right now!

So my dear furrriends, today I want to ask you if you were in a situation like this before and how you handled it... Because unfortunately some people still laughs when my mom tries to explain how hard it is having your baby sick and just can't tell the truth.

Cats VS Dogs - Why You Should Choose A Cat!

Today I am gonna talk with you about this very controversial subject. Please keep in mind that I will be as neutral as possible... Ok furriends, forget what I just said! Cats are much better than dogs! And I am gonna tell you why...

1 - Just think about those cold days, raining outside... That's it! If you have a dog, you will have to go out early in the morning and wait, wait and wait until he decides to finally pee. Well, now think about a cat just going to the litter box, covering his poo and meanwhile... You just continued sleeping!

2 - We wash ourselves. You see, cats always smell like roses! And just ask to other cat owner how good it is to smell our belly! When we let you do it and we do not try to scratch your eyes out...

3 - We are philosophers and we talk with aliens! We think a lot about life, food, birds... In conclusion, we are an introspective genious! From your point if view maybe it looks like we are just frozen, starring to nothing, but we are actually discovering the biggest mysteries of the Universe. So if you are an intelligent person you would be able to admire your feline furrriend.

4 - We do not kiss you a lot, but when we do, we do it with all of our soul! We love you as much as a dog, we just have our own ways to show it.

We all know that us, cats, and those things that you call dogs are incredible and all of them deserve a caring family. So if you do not know which one you should choose, you should just adopt both! Because you know, we are superior anyway...

My 3 Secret Steps To Get My Tuna Treats!

Hi! Today I will share with you my secret plan to get a tuna treat! You see, I can live without water from the tap or even without one or other cuddle, but I can't image a life without tuna treats! So today I will tell you the three steps that I follow to get my delicious and pawsome tuna treat!

1 - First I go near my mom. I know that it's early to get a tuna treat, Dra. Delphine (my Vet) was very clear about it :"Only one in the evening, so she will not ask for another during the day.". And then she wants to be my friend! Anyway, it's now time to jump to my mommy's lap and look directly to her eyes. Then I blink very slowly.

2 - To make my plan purrfect I start purring of course! At this time, doesn't matter how busy she is, my mom can't resist anymore and cuddles me. It's time to move quickly to my final step!

3 - I meow. I do not only meow, I beg! I jump to the floor and sit near my bowl and I meow again. I can read the indecision crossing through my mom's mind. So, it's finally time to my final and crucial meow, like if I can die at any second without a tuna treat! 

And then (sometimes!), magic happens! My mom feels then guilty for not resisting, but... Would you?

P.S. - Please do not tell my mom about this text! I just blocked her so she can't read it...

Hello my furrriends! Most of you know me for a quite long now, but others will become my friends after visiting my blog. That's right!
